I've just installed openttd 1.00 on Kubuntu 10.04 and it appears I can't start a network game. I've also tried out r20098 and the same problem happens. The following messages are written to stdout:

It appears that this error is triggered when openttd tries to listen to a port which is already being listened by some other application.
