Hi all, happy new year!

I'm selling part of my Transport Tycoon collection, which has some pretty rare editions in it. I thought this could be of interest for some folks on here.


First, the really rare (and more expensive) stuff:

The famous lost Japanese edition of TTO for Macintosh, first known since Chris Sawyer mentioned it in his letter to Owen 20 years ago: Similarly rare: The Japanese edition of TTO for DOS in the rad-looking black big box: The equally rare Japanese edition of TTD for Windows. Fun fact: This was actually the first Windows release of TT - it came out in 1998, one year before the western TTD Win version was released as part of the "Tycoon Collection": SOLD

Rare Italian floppy disk release: US CD-ROM edition, sealed: US CD-ROM edition + extra box: US floppy disk edition
US floppy disk edition
UK floppy disk edition
German floppy disk edition (SOLD)
German CD-ROM edition
French floppy disk edition (disks unreadable)
World Editor, UK version

TTD Big Boxes:

UK big box: US edition, sealed (but a bit beat up unfortunately): Australian edition of the Tycoon Collection (contains TTD for Windows):

Chris Sawyer's Locomotion:

UK version, sealed: UK version (rerelease), sealed: 运输大亨 Imported from Taiwan, the edition in simplified Chinese, sealed box:

PM me if you're interested in multiple items, I can take them off of eBay and combine them to save on posting costs, fees etc.

Alas, I suspect we'd need a few more donations (and some more physical space ) to have an official TT-Forums TT Collection, but hopefully they will go to a good home.

I know absolutely nothing about the history of Locomotion releases, but this bit doesn't sound right.

My recommendation is to free up an entire shelf for a TT collection. At least that's what I did.

Some are sold, others have lower prices now.

Let me know if you're interested in any item, I can actually give a discount if the sale happens off of eBay (because taxes & fees are bypassed).

Ok most items are sold by now. I changed those that are still available from fixed price offer to auction, starting at 1€ each. This includes the Japanese DOS and Mac versions!
